What is forest bathing?
Forest bathing is like nature’s yoga.
Just like yoga, forest bathing utilizes techniques in mindfulness and meditation to cultivate greater self awareness while relieving stress and promoting overall health and wellbeing.
It has been shown to reduce anxiety, improved mood, energy, focus and creativity, and to even help reduce blood pressure and promote heart health.
What is unique to forest bathing is that it brings you into deeper relationship with nature. It awakens your intuition and senses, and can help you to learn how to work with nature as a guiding force in your life.
Forest bathing classes are held twice monthly at different locations.
Each class will explore different meditations and exercises to help you harness the healing energies of nature for greater balance, health and power in your life, and to help you deepen your connection and relationship with nature.
Our May 18th class will be held at Assiniboine Forest from 11-1pm. We will meet at the pond inside the park, under the arbor (about a 10 minute walk from the Grant Ave parking lot, follow the trail maps).
Exchange for the class is:
$20.00 per class [$15.00 x 2 with a friend]
$60.00 for a four class pack
